Just updated my post with the PDF I started writing and not finished as yet..
I am waiting for this great update before I start again.. that and business is booming and finding time is a bit hard at the moment..

Terrain Creation:
These videos may be a little old but they show how to create and edit the terrain. The editor looks a bit different now but it is all roughly the same.
There are also these tutorials that you can look into:
Check out the "Generating Terrain" and "Terrain Edit" videos created by our forums TattieBoJangle
For extra information, the terrain editor can be found as a dockable panel usually hidden on the right hand side of the screen. If you take a look in the bottom right of the skyline editor, you should see some terrain, step along until you find "Terrain Editor".
Select the main directional light in the scene and click the generate terrain button found on that panel.
The subsequent tabs across the top of the panel step along for editing, painting terrain; followed by Vegetation and the road system.
GUI Editor
The GUI Editor is still a WIP and will result in the odd bug. One which has been fixed in the development version where clicking on the render screen while playing the game will result in a crash.
Make sure all the GUI workspaces and files are gone, then load a gui from the "Asset Library/GUI" Folder.

Heres a PDF I was working on (still will be when I get time), its no way finished and the images are place holders etc etc anyways here it is.
Crashes
In the "C:\Aurasoft UK\Skyline\Win64_Release" or "C:\Aurasoft UK\Skyline\Win32_Release" dependant on the version you are using.
There are a few files.. Skyline_TechSupport, Skyline_HardwareCaps, SkylineEXE, there all text documents, if you can zip them up and upload them when you have problems like crashes or bugs then it makes it easier for the dev team to help you out.
If you can also make a video of when it crashes and post it to Youtube (unlisted not private or it will not work) and use the tags [youtube][/youtube], in between the tags is the Video ID found in the Url of the video such as https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=p ... mbedded&v=StjHqT6h8-o.
With both of the above the dev team will have more than a good idea on how to help you with these problems.

I can't find any terrain creating tools. also program crashes when trying gui editor.
