I have just uploaded a WIKI article on how I built a Level Creator for Skyline in Excel (with VBA):
This allows me to create a level of 300+ entities in a matter of minutes. Obviously, the setting up of meshes etc. takes some time, but I can now knock out 10 space station type levels in an hour or so
Hope someone finds it useful
The next step is to build a stand-alone one in C++
