Hey guys, just a quick post of some weapons I have been working on. Been knee deep in modelling characters, and figured I could give modeling something else for a change. Here are a few weapons I have been working on, critique welcome. The last pic is not necessarily for a game, just a model of one of my knives here at the house.

Very good model designs :)

The only thing I would mention is that the secular looks to wet/shiny, may be play with a secular map to only show a small amount. Also adjusting the exponent amount may help.

Thanks guys. Haven't played with the specular much, it drives me nuts too. The top two are primitive weapon ideas for my game, I figured the material wouldnt translate from blender to the engine well so was going to adjust that there once they are imported.

*EDIT*

I redid my knife this morning. finished it this time with the screws and all.

Very nice necdel, didnt see the edit post lol.

The knife looks pretty accurate compared to the real one. :D
If the knife is for a game, then the handle poly count is a bit to high, or are you going to render a normal map and put that on a low poly version of the knife for detail.

Thanks, the knife was just for fun, to see if i could do it. I am working on some character models now, finally starting to click with me on how to keep topology flowing with the models, so going back to character modeling a bit. I guess at some point I should just start a thread in the projects section.
