Messing - changing jpg to vector

Messing - changing jpg to vector

Postby epsilonion » 15 Apr 2015, 16:48

Been playing around changing Jpg's to vectors and making models of them.

So I went and took the Aurosoft logo and made it into a model, its in the asset store for anyone that fancies doing something like making a intro for there tutorials and doing a fancy flyby or something, there's no material assigned so its up to you to do that.

Just thought I would do something while the weather has changed a bit cooler.

If you want a smoother version of it give me a PM and I will get that done for you.

Using Blender, and a program like Illustrator or Photoshop (or other free one), you can export your favorite logo as an SVG, import it into blender, and then create a 3D logo that you can animate or just export.

There are plenty of tutorials on google and you tube that's what I was playing with to see how it is done.

Do you have any idea's of what your wanting for the powered by animation/short film?

All we know is we need something cool to start the showcase video off with, the typical looks cool type of logo intro. We like the blue fire on the player default. An advancement of that would be great.
