Procedural Generation

Procedural Generation

Postby Shando » 20 Oct 2017, 06:35

Hi All,

A post came up on my Twitter feed showing a procedural dungeon generator by a guy called Sam Swain, and it looks very very cool 8-)

I dug a bit deeper and came across his website where he explains more about his tech:

http://www.apparance.uk/index.htm

He's currently integrating it with U***y, but has also been asked by the L*****Yard team if he can integrate to them as well!

Just thought some of you may be interested.

Regards

Shando

PS: his Twitter handle is @ga5p0d3 if you want to see a gif of it in action

Aye, that it would, lad, that it would ;)

Actually, I just downloaded the beta and had a bit of a play.... It's actually not too bad and if it had Skyline's visuals, it would be pretty d**m amazing :P

It's only a few dlls (about 3MB in total), so might be worth contacting the dev to see if he'd be willing to look at teaming up with Skyline
