Get Data from Website

Hi All,

More of a request than anything else, and I may have requested this a while back but can't find anything

Would it be possible to add something like luasocket or similar into Skyline so we can do simple web data requests? I'm thinking mainly for storing simple tabular data like High Scores etc.

PS: I thought about using the current networking functionality, but seems to be overkill having to run a game server purely for accessing a few bits of information (I'd only be returning a number based on 2 parameters in the request)

Solar has fixed the lua importing of dll's and as so we have a full mysql integration. give him a bit of time to complete it and he will send you a copy.

Do you want the c++ template for setting up your own dlls?

That will make it super easy to store all sorts of data online

With regards to the C++ template, I most certainly would like to at least take a look at it Then attempt to get my brain out of Lua (Skyline)/Python (Work)/C# (Web-based Blazor) mode and into C++ mode (too many languages, too little time ).

They are the only ones who can add new functionality or change existing features like crm data enrichment.
You can reach out to the support team or the developers of Skyline to express your interest in this feature. They may be able to provide more information on their plans for future development and how you can help influence their decision-making process. Additionally, it's possible that there are existing workarounds or alternative solutions that would allow you to achieve the same result without adding a new feature to Skyline.
