Hi guys is there anyway to change the draw order when using Alpha/Smooth I have been having problems using reject with some veg again its fine in 3dsmax ;)

Case: CM Storm Trooper CPU: I7 5930k X99 Cooler: Noctua NH-D15 Graphics: Asus GTX 1080 Motherboard: Rampage Extreme V x99 Ram: RipJaws DDR4 3000mhz Storage: x2 SSD Crucial 500GB + x5 2TB Hdd PSU: Evga 1500w OS: Windows 10

Your problem is in using the base type on the material.Best stick with the Uber shader and set the reject to checked, save the material then adjust the reject settings. Let us know if that does the trick, its how we use it ;)

Yea that has the same results the problem is when there is mesh close together and the only way to fix it is to manually remove it :?

i think the reject causes this because the material has the setting "cull_hardware none" which engages double sided materials.
Can you send me the mesh shown in the video so i can run a few tests please :)

We will be adding a check box to the reject options to enable/disable cull hardware as it is useful in many circumstances ;)

i am working on the material editor upgrade now to handle the double sided option.

It looks much better, but it still suffers from bad alpha rejection shadows when facing down the light. But still usable compared to what was shown before lol :P

Hey, just wanted to show a picture of the plant in question which has been setup using the new material editor option "double sided".

p.s. found that adding a slight amount of reflection really makes the plant stand out lol :P
