Hi SP,

I was looking for examples of how to access the text in a LineEdit and came across this in another thread:

we will check out the lineedit to see why it cant be deleted or cleared

Did you ever get a chance to check this out as I'm experiencing the same thing (using the Visual GUI Editor)?

Also, would it be possible to add the ability to call a custom function from the LineEdit when the "Enter" key is pressed?

Yeah, sure we can definately check this out Will add it to the other GUI requests

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but I was wondering if any of the UI fixes/updates I've requested have been implemented?

From checking my 'TODO' list, the ones I've requested are:

set & get for radio buttons

set & get for combo boxes

set & get for sliders

set text for radio buttons

add, edit & remove items in combo boxes

how to read entry from an input box when the ENTER key is pressed?

rotate images in buttons (they currently display upside down for me)

enable / disable GUI elements rather than show / hide

Hi m8

the gui editor has not moved on in a while due to other tasks, but i have had requests from other users to look into the GUI system for visual editing after my current tasks( Optimizing meshes etc... )

So, yeah, will certainly look into this. The code editor side of the GUi though works brilliantly and we have seen some cool concepts come from some users.

All good over here in Oz, just found some time to take another look at my MP game, hence the question.

I know some HTML/CSS, but not nearly enough to code my own

PS: I sent StarFire a PM as I have done some work on SLikeNet -> Lua (using SWIG, so may not be much use to you guys!)

yes, noesis is still to be done.. just swamped with jobs at the moment lol
plus getting used to the new little one that is over each day, so lots of family time at the mo.
