The owner recently made the entire source MIT.

http://www.fxpression.com/As for our particle editor, it does work, but there is a very specific pattern to making it work. It is one of the very few editors that have not yet been upgraded. It will get a sprucing for the final release though.
Skyline loads particle universe files(.pu) through the action.
Skyline .skyParticle files are our filetype.
.skyParticle cannot load animated textures yet, just loads texture files, but particle universe can we believe.
PU might even run a spritesheet.
