It is possible to have child objects ?

I have a cover object , and it should have some child objects that are specific cover positions.

In Lua i should be able to access all it's child empty game objects and read their position and orientation.

It is possible to have some hierarchy object and child objects ?

Do you mean by attachment...?

We plan on upgrading the attach system to use the scene entity list, but we do have an action that allows you to attach another entity to another. Its called "Entity - Attach" and takes the tag of an entity to attach to another.

Why adding and action for simple parenting :shock:

Most small 3D indie egines, even open source 3D engines have hierarchy tree object scene list, with drag and dropt parenting support :lol:
(it's standard, fast and modern workflow)



It is also used to attach objects to armature of characters only with drag and drop objects as child in the treeview scene list.
And it's used when you make real prefabs.


Let's hope Skyline will get someday parenting and treeview visualisation with with drag and drop support.
