The Player and standalone crash

The Player and standalone crash

Postby epsilonion » 05 Aug 2015, 21:36

I thought I would compile a scene and instead of using the standalone I used the player version, it downloads fine.
Double clicked the compiled game shortcut it shows the loading screen fine but then crashes, the scene works in the editor does not in the standalone or the downloadable player.

I followed the instructions and the crash has been resolved, the problem now is that when compiling a game (standalone) it is not moving textures across for the splash screen or menu's, it works in the editor and before the patch so I dont know whats up..

Its good that the issue for loading is fixed. But no code for this other problem to occur has changed in some time.

Have you added the textures / gui to resources?

Are the optio s for loading screen selected?

Have you tried setting it all from the editor settings? You can get to this from the main menu > File > Editor settings.?

If there is still a problem tomkrrow, then I can take a look :)
