Double precision?

Double precision?

For the past few weeks i've been searching for a cheap game engine that supported double precision (For which the are none). Anyway how easily would skyline convert to using double precision? A simple case of OGRE::real to double or am i best off starting from scratch?

By default, skyline is built using precision from float and Ogre::Real. We haven't support double precision from the start due to extra memory usage from using double and not often is it required for a game.

Q) What are you wanting double precision for?
