Hey all its been almost 2 years since I been around, some of you may remember me when I was making the aurasoft3d.com.

Well anyways I been away working in UE4 and other web related stuff. But me and my team are making an MMORPG right now and and were doing quite well actually. What I was wondering is Skyline created any networking support or able to have it easily added with 3rd party plugins, etc?

Right now were using UE4 with a custom backend and php server side support as a class connecting with blueprints. But UE4 is not really an ideal engine for an MMO to Indies since its too top heavy. Also hero Engine is well dead.

Hey Ryzon,
Yeah it has been a while and thats good news you have been able to move on with your projects.
Skyline currently does not have accessible networking, but we are working on it now. We are currently planning how it is going to be used and implemented for the end user whether through the visual mechanics or through Lua.

As for the websites, you will notice that we have had a quite design update throughout the sites and are still needing to do more work especially on the asset store lol :P

It would be good to have older members rejoin the forums :D

Sounds great because I would like to use this engine for our MMO, Legends of Gyo. We would be moving it over from UE4. Noticing you lack games to promote your engine this could be a great things for both parties.

What kind of network you planning?

We already have peer to peer working in c++ and we are most likely going to route all the commands through lua from the raknet dll. This means you can program your own networking systems :)
