To attach a RigidBody(Physics) to your scene entity, you will need to attach the Bullet - RigidBody Action to your entity.

To learn how to attach an action, folllow the MyFirstAction tutorial:
http://www.chi-ad.com/DokuWiki/doku.php/gs_firststeps5

Instead of attaching a Rotate to your sceneEntity, choose the RigidBody.

Set its properties in the scene editor.

For the property Body Type, you can specify the following types:
  • box
  • sphere
  • convex
  • mesh
those are the main ones, we arent sure the others are working. :P

Hope this helps ;)

What's the equivalent now that it's PhysX rather than Bullet please?
Also, the MyFirstAction tutorial no longer exists, so can you tell me how to attach the physics property to the mesh please?

  • Import something into the scene,
  • Select it in the scene
  • RMB+Click in scene to bring up context
  • Add Action
  • Click on first panel -> Physics
  • On second panel double click Physx Rigidbody
  • Then in entity properties choose body type from dropdown

Remember only use mesh physics on static objects( ones that do not fall, move or roll ).

will post pic in a minute

Well, at least I could after I turned off Dynamic or Fixed so my bridge didn't fall through the bottom of my scene when I hit the play button! :D
