Its not that good m8 hood bought it the other day and sent over some models spits out some crazy ass poly  but what lets it down are the textures.

Or you could always make your own ;)

I guess that you would have to buy the pro version for better textures..

lol :P The screenshots on that video on steam had some high rez planet show.. good shaders for planets and internal texturing is good but must have a poor exporter when it comes to saving the images off.

i have a photoshop plugin somewhere that allows you to create numerous layers and textures for planets is really good.

all flat aswell so all you need to do is uvmap it to a basic sphere in your prefered 3d app.

will dig out details if anyones interested.

also have a wicked space skybox generator aswell.

although saying that, plug that type of code into skyline and weve got star citizen style gaming at our hands :)

Oh cheers for them links mate..

With the planetary generator the guy said there meant to be seen from a distance and not close up, will have a word with him see if he can do something about them..

anyways this is an asteroid generated by that planetary generator that I made..
(they are loads better than the ones I already made in 3DS max years ago..

Wish I had seen them links before I got it (thought I would get it to see if it was ok and its not bad, but not good either), he is planning more features etc for it and he regards it as been in beta from what his PM's said, hes working on it in his free time and usually gets updates out every 2-3 months he recons, so will wait and see..

Yeah it is ok as you said its more to be seen from a distance then they look ok, if it was half price I would get it.
