I have purchased the web domain aurasoft3d.com. I have also got my hands on some better web hosting. I can now begin on the site and community board designs and get it up and running. All site side access will be given to each team member needed when I get that set up, as well as special email address for support, applications, customer service, etc.

I can cover the hosting each month for site. Cannot wait to show the new site off. I just felt the game engine and company needed a special place on the web of its own and more professional looking. This will also help will better fan fare and hopefully many more community members to climb aboard and support the cause. Wish me luck.

I think it is better aurasoft.com or skyline3d.com :)

Good work, good luck! :D

Sadly aurasoft.com was taken and skyline3d.com would only be for the engine. If aurasoft ever made there own games, additional software, etc it would need another name, so in general 3d technology I figured this domain best fits.

PS: Thanks and I will try my best.

I have checked and replied, thanks. Also I can have every domain forwarded to the same location so if you have a good traffic base to your older domains they can still be reached easily by forwarding all the domains to a single location. Makes things easy that way.

Another design concept. Spent little more time on this due to starting over 100 times lol. I was trying to come up with my own style but not going to far of course. :)

Colors are fully editable, just chose red for the moment lol. Well let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

Ill turn it into a game logo one day maybe lol. I will get a more sleek and less complex design for the engine.

http://www.aurasoft3d.com/

Take a look so far....

The css in the stylesheet still has some errors from me redoing a good bit of it, will have that sorted away in the next couple days. there really is no sidebar on any page yet either will have stuff in there as well. I also am currently redoing the menu navigation bar and dropdown too, so that will match up and look better in the next couple days. But hope it looks good so far.

Very Interesting :)

The new aurasoft logo is moving in the right direction. Try it without the gradient and fix the beginning "A"

But keep it up :) as we know its a work in progress so we wont give any constructive criticism yet ;)

all looking very promising :D

i also like the aurasoft logo, but a couple of tweaks will make it even better.
As for the site, i am liking where it is heading, but would like to see a few more imagery being used, especially on the feature pages.

As for the home page, i like the way the news is given at the bottom, but as for the black section with the news slider, i would like to see something more like the unity front page image sliders(that span the entire screen), so we can display large images to wow people when they first see skyline.

i do like the menu bar and dropdowns, plus it also displays well on ipad

As for the actual site you are making, it should be displaying Skyline instead of aurasoft, as aurasoft needs a more corporate and separate website, where we can show other products that we make.
Skyline is a product of aurasoft and requires its own website.

Maybe we should think about a skyline domain name: e.g. http://www.SkylineGameEngine.com (current site i see you are making) and http://www.aurasoft.co.uk (a more corporate and better website than the current one existing lol.)

But all in all, i am liking its development and would like to see more. :D

A couple of notes for the forum system:
  • Easy to read
  • Ban hammer - we use this plugin for phpbb to remove a spammer and all the posts they made - makes it easy to moderate.
  • We have to be able to move all posts we currently have as we dont want to start from scratch
  • This also applies the same for all the members, so no-one has to sign up again lol.
  • We would like an image uploader as it is a pain to add images to this forum.
Keep up the good work :)

Sounds good everyone! Quick note though it may take me sometime to get the tweaks made for the homepage slider to better stand out, but will get on it. Another thing, do you guys like it a darker style or do you want it lighter?

New update. I found this thing called the revolution slider. It works great, I just been playing with it, trying to figure out how it works and best way to utilize it on site. I also used a different design and been working on that for few hours now. I think it is coming out nicely.

BTW: I need a full copy of this forums database files so when I make a new one I can simply copy and paste and carry over all the users and posts.

I also added Aurasoft on Skype.

Huge design overall!

Still need to fix some images on site, change a few layouts, add more to homepage. get the forum started/ and hopefully integrated, etc. I am calling it a night though I am very tired. I hope this is started to look good to you guys. I have shown it to over 115 Skype users and nothing but praise so far so I hope you guys think it looks awesome so far too! :)

Looks really nice. My suggestion would be to change the "GAME development engine". While its mainly a game engine I believe the guy want to attract other media development as well.
