Been looking at my trees and want other users opinion what sort of poly would you expect from a good tree.
Case: CM Storm Trooper CPU: I7 5930k X99 Cooler: Noctua NH-D15 Graphics: Asus GTX 1080 Motherboard: Rampage Extreme V x99 Ram: RipJaws DDR4 3000mhz Storage: x2 SSD Crucial 500GB + x5 2TB Hdd PSU: Evga 1500w OS: Windows 10

3000 high rez - then vary depending on tree size. Sapling should be low poly. Big tree more polys.
0-300 lowest rez

problem is that the lodding for the vegetation system is not yet fully implemented and won't work for you atm.
so a mid size tree will do the trick.

With the vegetation system, after a certain distance, they turn into impostor billboards which is why the performance keeps up.
But at certain angles, they can look bad. All to improve lol :P

palm tree is around 400 polys
spruce 2 is around 3000 polys

ahhh so mines are way off lol 6000-7000 they look great but not sure i will use them now.

they could be ok with only a few around. But i wouldn't go mad with them.
