Do you work in Blender. I spoke to the guys about exporting from 3d programs and thought it would be good to have for 3dmax, maya and blender.

exporting to OBJ. ?? Are you looking to export items from inside skyline to obj.

We dont have our own blender exporter yet, but we have seen various methods on how to export to an Ogre mesh format which is what Skyline uses. We will have a look for you but to help us could you do a search for "Blender export to Ogre mesh" and let us know how you get on.

We currently have no plans to export models from Skyline but we are looking into importing various formats such as fbx, obj. ;)

Thanks Vortex, this very looks interesting :)

Have you managed to try this exporter yet?

necdel has also posted about an exporter here: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=135 but had problems with the animation. I imagine that there will be a good solution somewhere ;)

I will give this a go today and let you guys know how it turns out.

*EDIT*

Ok I tried it out and I did not have any success with it in the newest version of blender. I got an error on the export.

blender2ogre appears to be working fine though with the swap axis set to xz-y

Hopefully this will not be a problem soon, as we are setting Skyline up with Assimp, this provides Skyline with a multi format importer. Please see this post for more information: http://www.chi-ad.com/Skyline/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=138

Animation is still an unknown with the new importer, so for now if you can get a result with this that would be great ;)
