Change LOD values on the fly

Change LOD values on the fly

Postby TattieBoJangle » 10 Jul 2016, 20:11

Hi guys would it be possible to be able to change the LOD value on the fly sort of thing as it stands we need to edit it in mesh editor to make the LODS I don't mind doing that but it would be nice to be able to change the distances of the LOD on the fly without having to go and edit all over again.

Yes this sounds like a good idea, something in entities model properties so it can be accessed by script of module. But the better solution may be to have a definable auto lod that procedurally generate lods on the fly which we hope Skyline Gen2 will have out of the box ;)

That would be amazing :o but if not the ability to change the value on the fly after you create the mesh would be fine also.
