orbit entity?

orbit entity?

is there a way for a object to orbit another objet without spline path perhaps? like a moon around a planet say?

Yes this can be done in script or modules(I think?)
I will have a look for you :)

The swallow preset does an orrbit I think

The simplest way would be this:

use the offset to create a radius, place the object at the center of rotation. This can be set up in animate mode so you can see the rotation live. :D

ah cool.. thanks :D ive been making planets etc and astriods tattie is working on them in a sscene to make astriod hit planet or moon n go pop hahahha but needed to remember how to get rotation like orbit for moon and planet around sun like.. found a software that's quite cool for the space bodies :)

Awesome That sounds fun :D
The space this should look great in gen2 looking forward to seeing it.

You may need to set the rotations of the moons via script so that they can have a kinematic body or trigger box. Experiment and I am just a shout away :D
