There's a free game analytics site where you can get information from players of your game and find out where they grind and where there having problems in your completed and shipped game.

This information is vital for for any successful game and allows you to create a better experience for your game players.

Having this integrated automatically in your games would be great and help skyline create an all round complete package.
In the scene script you could have a command like
Code: Select all
sky.analiticsEnabled (1); -- to enable it or 0 to disable it for your game.

I think that this would be great for skyline.


They have SDK for most platforms, Widows, mac, linux, mobile and are grouped so depending on what SDK you choose to include in skyline people can have analytics in there games never mind what platform they are exporting to. Hooks can be left open for when you develop skyline to export to other platforms and its coded in C++ so thats a bonus for ya.

There are also some free LUA code that integrates with some of there libs off that bat on the googles.

I still think that this would be a great one for the toDO list.. and they recon on the website that you can be up and running in as little as 5 mins but a bit longer for all of the capture events.. 8-)

absolutely great idea... however, one first needs a game in order to track analytics on...

This is a good plan for the future, but as for now.. we dont feel it has a high priority :)

That sounds true just think with them saying it can easily I integrated within an hour that it wouldn't take long..

I think an option like this would be great for people.
