Material Submesh names

Material Submesh names

Hi guys any way you can get the submesh material names to so in the edit material so instead of submesh1,submesh2 it would match up with the name like wall4 ect the reason is I use the same material for different models but it would be good to see the name without having to right click and edit material ;)

Yeah, thats a good idea :) The submesh names are supposed to map to what they are called inside your modelling package.
Im sure we can work something out to display the material name :)

The other thing we personally want is to be able to RMB + click on the the submesh icons and edit material directly from there.
