Be nice if players could modding the game an Skyline, recording machinima, etc. ;)

Hi Vortex,
do you mean the end user to record their player movements from another camera location so people can make mini machinima movies, or do you mean to record a players movements that you act out to form a cinematic?

for example on the first point, a bunch of players are playing the game, but decide they want to make a short movie(this is when playing the finished released game) and decide to create a few extra cameras in scene to take the footage from. They would act their part but record the scenes from an in game camera.
Much like the older "red vs blue" series for halo.

for example on the second point, you might have a cut scene required for your incomplete game of a group of soldiers running, shooting and jumping at an enemy. to make this cut scene, you would take control of all characters individually from the first or third shooter style and run, shoot and record all movements you make and replay them in the cut scene cinematic, then edit the scenes slightly to make the best you can and then overlay speech and lip syncing to the voices.

Or are we way of base from what you are wanting and you just mean a modding system after the game is finished, which provides the editor and features but the mod outputs have to be played through the game like crysis 1 had.

If none of these are what you seek, please could you give a little more information on what you want. : )

When installing the MDK file icon appears with which you can modify the system of the game separately, for example think of a storyline, quests, change the texture and so on. The player will be available in almost all the material the game, but the editor will be limited (at your discretion), and of course there will be some copyright.

About the movie, it can be done as a separate option, a button in the editor and interface changes to create a machinima, which will be stored as on Fraps after being edited in Vegas and then the players will be doing voiceovers, approximately ;) . The interface will be given a certain call options NPC, its animation, the point where it will run, gestures and so on. also establish multiple camera switching and more comfortable shooting, change the settings for the camera, well, then you yourselves know better!
