Lock FPS

Postby TattieBoJangle » 16 Feb 2015, 00:20

It would be great if the Lock FPS was checked as default when opening skyline this would save me turning it on every time i load skyline the only reason i ask is my graphics card go crazy at the start as its running at crazy fps and this can damage gfx cards ;)

ok, well can't have any damages caused. The lock used to be on, but we decided to unlock it due to the pops the engine timer produces which don't show in the end game. There is a way of fixing this though.

For now, open skyline on the default scene.
> Activate the FPS lock
> Now save as scene.
> Goto "SkylineSDK/Skyline/Data/Scenes/" and overwrite the default scene.
> Then when skyline boots again, the default scene will be locked to 60 fps.

BTW: Those machine specs are beastly. Skyline must run superbly.
