Hi i have attached a camera to a character but no matter what i do the character seems to be running backwards and facing the wrong way i have tried rotating him using x,y,z 180 but to no success.

have you tried using the Flip Direction property on the character controllers.

if this still does not work, import the character into the mesh editor and rotate on the Y axis for 180 degrees, then hit save.
Go back into the editor and press the reload sceneEntity button.
Hope this helps :D

Edit: Just a heads up, the next version of skyline has an improved camera entity with built in functionality for adventure, rts games and more :)

None of the above work the character rotates but when you test the game he is still facing the camera :(

did you press the refresh sceneEntity button with the entity selected in the scene.
It is an E button with a refresh symbol on the main toolbar.

also after rotating in the mesh editor, make sure to press the save button to overwrite the mesh data on harddrive.
then also make sure you haven't got the flip direction on lol.

This will work if done through the mesh editor.

Edit: On the camera properties, try setting the distance to a negative value, perhaps this is the problem.

Setting the camera to -1.5 fixed it many thanks :)
