Postby StarFire » 29 Jul 2017, 12:57

Hi friends,

We have been very busy getting the last parts of the Gen 1 to Gen 2 conversion and its going really well. There are a few jobs still to be done but we are definitely entering the last phase and gearing up towards the release. We can assure you there is a vast improvement in performance over Gen1 Beta and the system is running very stable.

SGE Version 1.0 ETA: As of writing we are looking at the end of September 2017

Keep posted for more news.

Thank you

That long :(

Only joking :D

Congrats on getting this far, it's been a long (and sometimes dark) road for you both. I hope you get all the plaudits (and money, of course) you deserve and Skyline starts to become a force in the 3D engine space!

Looking forward to the official launch.

Great to hear guys, congratulations.

SGE is a force to be reckoned with and is miles above other engines of its type, sorry i have not been around we have had lot of crap this year (including a recent death in the family).

I can not wait to see what the whole package will be like (database integration) and everything that you have on the trello board that we have not seen yet, Skyline is the most easy package to learn that I have seen yet and seeing your vision turning into a reality is a great moment be very proud of yourselves, not everyone has the dedication not only to the development but also to the users/community that you have shown and it is great to be apart of that community.

Sounds great! ;)

Deleted the Gen1 from the HD yesterday, I think that was a signal...

Lot of fun is waiting to the future Skyline users and they don't know yet.

Good luck!

Thanks guys :) It has been a long road and to finally start seeing the goal posts without them getting further away is a good feeling if not a scary one with a lot of pressure haha :P Still much to achieve and accomplish but we will get there and as you all say, skyline should become a contender and gain more traction in the market to help fund this project for the coming years :)

@epsilonion, very sad to hear about your loss. We wish you and your family the best!

Thank you all :D

We are now happy with the workflows and SGE's direction so full steam ahead with the real deal .We will do our very best to get SGE a fully featured exciting 3D Development toolset.

With this release we will be presenting the base platform and from there we will keep adding new features over the coming years and providing you all with as much support as humanly possible.

@Shando - "That long" lol
@epsilonion - Sorry to hear about your loss and naff year, we can empathize deeply with you on this.
@planetX - So it was you that set off the office alarm for deleting Gen1 lol

There is a world of people out there that we are sure will enjoy developing on Skyline, so our next big job is to reach out to them and show them what they are missing. ;)
