I downloaded a couple of quixel's free rock assets and here is how they look in Skyline with a bit of vegetation and various lighting:

Quixel is an amazing tool, it feels complicated at first but they have tutorials on there site.

NDO does an amazing job on the normal maps as well as AO, Spec etc..

When I first used it (cough cough copy) to see what it was like I was well amazed with the outcome just from doing 10 mins work on a texture.

I love the way you can do panels in NDO, scifi panels are a breeze to make in it..

This will increase the visuals of anyone developing a game and cuts the workflow down by half of creating texture maps......

Well impressed with it.

The MEGA SCANS that they are now selling look awsome aswell.. great for terrain and more..

Oh Btw where did you fond the free stuff.. lol

The free assets are on the mega scans page and select "free" from the menu ;)

setting I found best were:
diffuse = 1000
Normal = 700
spec = 500
roughness = 500
fresnel = 500

:)
