hmmm... looks very familiar.. haha

So you have hit the dreaded camera bug ..
This is the one we have mentioned a couple of times and seems to be a real major pita to fix lol :P
Its planned in for this week, so should come away with a good result soon. Will keep you informed once im started on it :)

As help to getting your flight working, if you don't mind, i may have a few quick starters for you :)
  • First is; i noticed you using the FPS Player System, which was the action the old FPS used. I guess you are trying to make the ship shoot, so you may want to find the Weapon - Shoot action as this will do the ray and particles for you. I may even be able to drag an example out for you over christmas :)
  • Second, Flight can be achieved simply by used this script which emulates a plane. http://www.forum.aurasoft-skyline.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=1014&p=4914#p4914

Hope this helps :D

Edit: lol, just totally realised, the plane script was for you originally.

ok, got an update for you on this bug :)

After a couple of hours i have found a few errors which would make the camera unusable and fixed them.
I then tested with the action player camera v2 and did not get this error anymore. To follow, we tested on the entity camera and lua camera programming also and they seemed to work.

We have a couple of tests to do tomorrow realted to this bug, but hopefully this is fixed now.

If all goes well, we should be merging our codebase tomorrow which means a release should follow after with plenty of fixes :)

The cameras are not breaking with the gizmo anymore, but in some use cases, the cameras are not acting as they should.

A potential camera system rewrite is coming up soon :)
