If you resize a mesh that has a ridged body the ridged body is not updated so you have to go into the action editor and remove the ridged body and reapply it again..

You can get around this by changing the mesh type to something else and back, or by changing to dynamic back to static, or vice versa. So its easy to get around :)

I agree it should be added to the scale options to save time when editing.
