VM Editor - micro chart error

Load up the VM editor, go to the main skyline screen add a tall cube to the scene, action editor add micro chart, in the properties panel go to micro chart and LMB edit, you get an error in the console "Error: Failed to load the graph file: [Load] from resources."

Now if you go to the VM editor and close it then LMB on the edit micro chart it loads up the VM editor for use.

Is there a way to do scene level charts that load up with no objects in scene?

Another crash is to have a chart open and LMB file menu > Scene: open chart and it crashes.

Default scene graph should be empty when opened, if not, click new and then save scene graph.
