I will list here bugs i find instead of making new threads.


Crash with "FPS armed"
1) Empty Scene with the default grass floor
2) Add "FPs armed" character
3) run the scene , it crashes.

(while FPS and FPS camera just work fine)

perhaps reboot the engine to ensure the resource lists are working fine...
This is something we all do every day and hasn't crashed yet, so it may just be a resource issue thing.

Also when you uninstalled gen1, did you clear out the folders.

Q) Where have you installed it to?

Edit: If that fails, then try to regenerate resources by deleting the 2 cfg files in the "Data\Resources" folder.

Edit2: Also was this the first FPS_Armed or FPS_ArmedB?

usually, we ask users to uninstall.. clean the entire Aurasoft UK folder of files, then reinstall.. reboot and reload and update.
It is usually best to leave skyline be while it is updating.

But before you do that, could you send the "Skyline.log" & "Skyline_Tech_Support.txt" files from the "Win32_Release" folder please?

It's perhaps my firewall.
It is blocking Skyline editor, if i allow Skyline perhaps it wants to update, but i got this message :
"License Validation failed"
"Failed to validate your PC against license. You can try to remove the license file from your hard drive and re activate."

Should i do something first ?

I also have followed this thread

and uninstall Skyline, removing Appdata files and made another install, updates are downloading.

"Fps armed" bug can be closed, after editor has made updates it's working wihtout any crash :)

excellent, great to hear. The installer will be getting a full work over when close to v1.0 and an interim workover for the next update hopefully to forcefully clear the files and components that stop the engine from running as we dont want the first time to use skyline being an awkward one lol :P
