Have you added the file to the resources.

One of the new things with the next release is when saving a new lua file from the script editor, it will automatically be added to the resources.

For now:
> open the asset manager
> direct & click on the folder with the lua script.
> A window should appear offering to add new resources.
> If not, then in the explorer, right click on the folde > Resource management > Add folder to resources

Yea i also had this with a script had to add it to resource even though it was in the script folder ;)

Great to hear it is working :D

Pretty much all of Skylines assets ie, anything Skyline will consumes for developing a scene, needs to be added to resources. In time we will get as much of this done automatically ;)
