Thanks Tattie, ok a few tests / questions.

Q) If you try merging any of these meshes in a new scene does it crash?
Q) If you merge 1 or 2 of them does it crash?
Q) Is there a specific mesh which causes it to break?

It would help in finding the crash if we could have those specific meshes especially after the above tests.
Since the merge is a new system, there is bound to be problems that we missed lol :P Or it could be as simple as a .mesh file file setup or more lol :P

@creativeocclusion, does the mesh merge work in a new scene with simpler meshes. This will prove if the featureset works or not, then it could be down to a mesh like Tattie's was.

Thats good to know. I have a mesh that crashes to test with already and that might shed some light on the problem.
I have the job planned in for tomorrow to see if there is a solution.

If you want to pass the mesh to us for extra testing, then it might help loads. But one should be enough to get going with :)

I have been working on this today and found the problem.

It is simply merging two meshes which have either:
1 mesh with a skeleton and 1 without.
2 meshes with different skeletons.

For now, i have made it so all meshes merge static without storing any skeletons or animations.
