yes, we have noticed this. You can get around the problem by adding 0&1 to the Collision Groups of the FPS > SCC Flags Properties. Change the "0" to "0|1" and it should walk into things again. This can stop the barrels from being moved but is less work. To walk into physics objects and still knock barrels around, set the statics rigidbody flag to 0 instead of 0|1.
