export to exe bugs (FIXED)

export to exe bugs (FIXED)

Postby lordalmighty1 » 20 May 2016, 07:58

exported a map I have been working on and both of the copies show bugs in them :(

2 files added, 1 standard and 1 64bit exe both show different issues.

the 64bit 1 has a missing texture floating above the player, and the other does random reloads of weapon over and over again after auto shooting the gun.

the 64bit exe is the bigger of the 2

The files dont contain any scenes or assets, its just an exe file. I will need the full game compilations to help :)

that's strange no?.
the scene is a map with billboard trees/grass and a fps player. that's all I got to when testing the map in standalone.
can repack it though for you.

yeah, when exporting the game, you need the full folder from the _compiledgames folder in the asset library instead of the exe as that is just the end game which then loads the assets from the assets folder of the exported game.

No worries though as i am building a resource collection for modules which should remove some of the problems you are facing :)
