It is, but all those dots was the main problem of Gen1... the shadows were crap and we did the best we could with them. The dots are caused by using a poisson disk filtering technique on the shadow to improve the shadow quality on ground and give a softer edge to the shadow.

This is one of the main reasons for gen2 as it has better shadows and visuals :)
