ha, that looks very funny. But well done for getting it working! :)

If the train moves slow enough, it should stay on track :P
Use the braking volumes to slow the vehicle down as on that racetrack.

@piratemyke, here is the code for the spotlight to follow the cameras orientation.
Add a microscript and place this code inside a blank page.

Code: Select all
obj = 0;
function onInit(objID)
   sky.lprint("LUA: Script Active!");
   obj = objID;
end

function onUpdate( timeDelta )
   w,x,y,z = camera.getWorldOrientation();
   rotateQuat = newType.vec4(quat.rotateOrientation(180, 0, 1, 0, w,x,y,z));
   entity.setWorldOrientation(obj, rotateQuat.w, rotateQuat.x, rotateQuat.y, rotateQuat.z);
end

This code only works from the new version 0-9-2.

Hope this helps :D

@ Wolf, Thank you. Cant wait to see your stuff.

@SolarPortal, Thank you for the code. Looks like it time to apply it and do a new video. But first I must request a day off. So I have time. this week for such. I am about to bust doing all this support stuff and no modeling.

Finally, got the schedule worked out, and some of my clients caught up. Getting back into this all again.
Some I still need to get caught up on. But want to get this polished up for your Green Light release on Steam.

Good Luck with that. :D

Thanks we are looking forward to seeing your completed work :D
The more diverse scenes we have for our greenlight release the better, and it looks like we are going to have some great content from everyone. :D

Ok, here is a scene I am building up with all custom assets. Early stages and hopefully a medium size scene when done.

Have a lot more I can add in and I have some building to populate it with also.

Thanks for showing a new development video of your work so far. Looks like nice sized level, plenty of room for gameplay. Its always cool to see where a level begins and how it then changes to a full game level, looking forward to seeing what you do with itr ;)
