As you fall asleep to the sound of the waves gently lapping at the tiny ferries hull your mind wanders.
Why head to the Isles of Ifrinn. Why not head south to the sun like all the sensible vacationers.
For one thing you long for peace and quite. Its almost mid summers eave and the Southern Isles would be teeming with people.
For another you seem to be drawn here. As soon as you saw the Island on the last page of the brosure you knew it was where u had to go.
You've rented a small cottage a few miles from the small village/harbour. There would be someone there to meet you the travel agent had said.

You wake to find yourself on a bench at the side of the dock. No luggage, no one there to meet you, infact no one there at all. The place looks deserted.

Been working on layouts using placeholders etc
Heres a wip of the harbour/village

Blue are shops, Green are cottages, Greys are road and pavements and yellow is the harbour walls.
Red are a Pub and a monument. the mustard coloured one is a Warehouse.

Behind the pub and shops will be a small railway station but havnt got that layour figured out yet.

Also still to figure out the transition between pavements and terrain, any ideas ?

How does a pavement join the ground in the real world, this will be a good place to start ;)

lol you need to get out in the sticks more often ;)

The pavement:

Does it join to a clean well kept ground, or tidy lawn?

I would personally just raise the ground a little to cover the end of the path or combine this with a kerb stone. Just experiment and see what looks the best.

Gotta share these with you guys.

I've tried doing character modeling and failed badly everytime, with this in mind I've commisioned a guy to work on my main character, heres the WIP results so far.

These are the high poly sculptors but boy they look really sweet

I wanted my main character to look like my father but sadly have no really good clear head shots but I think this guy has done an amazing job.

Prefer the top one, looks more defined. Try that one combined with the stars from the first.
