Graphics tablet...

Postby epsilonion » 18 Nov 2018, 15:18

I just bought a replacement for my old trust tablet and wow am I surprised how good it is..
Ugee m708 under £40 but its miles better than my old one, for a cheap tablet I thought it was going to be crap but I am actually impressed (v2 version not v1)..

Any tips for learning Zbrush?

yeah we got a cheep Parblo gfx tablet about 45 squid and its awesome, very responsive. We are very surprised about its performance, sooo relaxing doing sculpting.

Advice:I personally prefer 3dcoat but do like zbrushes speed but for me it does lack a few extras. Get on the tube and try all techniques until you find your discipline, hard surface or organic. Sp is into organic and Im into hard surface. But both are great fun. Get to know the brushes and how they can help you achieve the desired results. Then just experiment, experiment. :D

Years ago I started out with an old Graphire tablet. I finally moved on to an Intuos. Then I got one of the Chinese knock-off interactive pen displays (like the Wacom Cintiq). Going from the tablet to the interactive pen display changed my life like going from the mouse to the tablet! The earlier Chinese displays were ok, but they've stepped up their game in recent years and actually make some really good tablets and interactive pen displays. But, you know, they say bigger is better. ;) So, now I am using a Dell Canvas ... 27" of drawing space on a touch sensitive screen. I love it.
