Skyline V2 Beta and Windows 11

I've uninstalled the old version and installed the new beta but when im trying to run the program on windows 11, its not getting past the loading screen and then it shuts down. It doesn't give me any error messages on why its shut down. I've also tried compatibility mode as well and its still does the same? Is there a work around for this or is the beta not liking windows 11 much???

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

It's not Windows 11. I've been running it on Windows 11 for some time with no issues.

Hey buddy,

1) Have you tried uninstalling & reinstalling?
2) If so, please can you post your Skyline_TechSupport.txt & Skyline.log files which can be found in the "C:\Aurasoft UK\Skyline Game Engine - Beta\Bin\Win64" folder. Assuming you've installed to the default location, of course and I'll see if I can spot anything obvious.

I've posted a copy of my skyline tech support but i cant seem to see a skyline.log file in my folder.

It should be in the same folder as the TechSupport file?

From the TechSupport file, there's not much in there, so hard to tell what's going on. Personally, I would suggest uninstalling Skyline and reinstalling.

It took 3 tries for me to get a good install, dont know why but get rid of all traces of old version.
I have windows 10 but my son runs v2 on windows 11.

Mmmm, still can't get skyline to launch and i've uninstalled, reinstalled, got rid of all traces of it and still the same outcome. Also its not generating a skyline log file that I can see.

if you have ransomeware protection on then you may have to unblock zip file before installing.

Since the developers haven't posted here in well over a year nor responded to emails nor posted about Skyline on Facebook, it's doubtful that they will respond about editor issues. We might as well face the fact that Skyline is dead unless the developers tell us otherwise ...
