for me when i go to update it says " no internet connection found... aborting update " anyone else ?

i have 0.8.2 and obviously my internet works 'cos im posting here

hmm strange, do you block ping as that has been the cause for some users.

i believe your computer may be experiencing an issue with system environment variables as it cannot recogise the Ping command.

Here is a post that has fixed someones issue :
If you cannot get this working, then we can look at releasing a patch update, but for most people the update is working fine
Let me know how it goes.

Edit: I am testing a new version of skyline that has an updated connection system. But this would exist for the next update.
Edit2: I have done a test with the new environment variable and it seems to be working.

Note: Remember for environment variables to take effect, you need to reboot or log off.

Note To all Users: We have discovered a major bug that skyline will not read the license file when the computer is not connected to the internet. We are working on this now and will put a new update out soon. Thanks for your patience.
This must have happened when we upgraded the encryption for the license files.

hi trying to update the skyline vercion 0.8.3 I get the following error:


and is not updated to version 0.8.1 and, 0.8.2 or the 0.8.3.

Hi welcome to the forums ,
have you applied the patch to 0-8-1 first, located here:


Download and run the patch, then try to update to 0-8-2 and 0-8-3
