My Little project

My Little project

Postby epsilonion » 05 Feb 2019, 00:03

So I recently started blocking out for a environment for the prototyping level.

Finally started after 8 years of wanting to get this project off the ground, there is not a lot to show at the moment and I hate UVing with a vengeance.

I started a weather patterns script some time ago now, it should work with the particle system still not finished it but its close, need to stop particles like rain from raining indoors some how.

So anyhow here is some images of blocking out the environment, hope to get more work done on it if my spare time doesnt dwindle.

Sample video of a material I made.

Ahh, time... is the most expensive thing in this universe.

Those textures look awesome... I also like the modelling part. Keep the good work!

Ty guys, I can't wait till it's complete and get more time to work on it...

I enjoy the modeling part of it but UVing is the part I absolutely hate.. I am also not to good at texturing and need to learn substance painter, can not believe that adobe bought substance a month after I buy it bloody just my luck lol

I think it looks very imptressive.
When it comes to modelling and texturing I found that the best app for me was ac3d which is cheap and very easy to use.
You can get free textures on the web, or make your own in gimp or photoshop.
Adobe stuff is outside my range pricewise.

I found that hexagon 2 was a good cheap modeling application and ultimate unwrap 3d was great for unwrapping. both are very cheap and good at what they do even tho hexagon 2 has not been in active development it's still a good cheap tool worthy of a look .

Thank you for you nice comments, it feels good to getting something together on the project I have wanted to start for many many years now
