Hey buddy,
With regards to the "Spyware" report, this can happen (a false positive) when a program is not often used by many people. I have had it a few times with some of my retro gaming programs. I simply run a full test using Spybot & Malwarebytes and everything normally comes back as clean.
As for the new Scenes crashing, just make sure that you don't have the Project in folders with the repeating names, such as:
C:\games\games\[project]
as this can cause a crash (as I found out recently!)
Finally, for the slowdown, have you looked in Task Manager to see what's hogging resources?
