In the 0.9.7.5 update (very soon, code has been merged) there are a few new modules and some have been created to control the SCC action for simple characters. I am working on a full module based FPS solution and as it will be in modules it will be fully customisable. But for now we thought we would share the first steps in the new character modules with a simple character movement video. :D

Looks very good...I worked with the visual programming some in UDK with Kismet...I prefer to code due to the fact that visual can get really big really fast...I find it great for the small things...Good job...

We do have sub modules to keep unruly lage scenes under your control. eg the movement can be placed into a sub module to keep and overview simple. We will have to see where this develops ;)

Can you also trigger an animation with a block? That would be very helpful when creating humans this way :)

With the current version you can. There is the new animation module: ;)



This module any many more have been created to control the SCC for use with characters and TP/FP players which I currently developing to make it more customisable for everyone.

There has been loads of fixes to the new module system and still lots more to do.... ;)

I think once you get the concept you will find it more fun developing game mechanics in modules rather than code, and its faster plus less chance for user error to crash the system :?

There still is the capability to combine modules and script for even more flexibility. ;)
