is there a way for a object to orbit another objet without spline path perhaps? like a moon around a planet say?

Yes this can be done in script or modules(I think?)

The simplest way would be this:

use the offset to create a radius, place the object at the center of rotation. This can be set up in animate mode so you can see the rotation live.

ah cool.. thanks ive been making planets etc and astriods tattie is working on them in a sscene to make astriod hit planet or moon n go pop hahahha but needed to remember how to get rotation like orbit for moon and planet around sun like.. found a software that's quite cool for the space bodies

The space this should look great in gen2 looking forward to seeing it.

You may need to set the rotations of the moons via script so that they can have a kinematic body or trigger box. Experiment and I am just a shout away
